Ragdoll Cat Coat Colors

Ragdoll cat coat colors. Full color development may not be evident until 2 3 years of age. A ragdoll may have any of six colors recognized by the various breed standard associations. Regardless of the color and the type of point of a ragdoll cat its color progression will be different over time. This is often complemented by lilac or cream in bicolour ragdolls.
The lynx variant in this color has delicate tabby stripes in the seal color sometimes confined to specific parts of the body. This could also be described as a blue grey. The ragdoll breed is essentially a medium long haired breed of cat. The ragdoll coat however may differ from other cats of this breed.
Then as the kitten gets older the darker areas grow alongside it to develop its pattern. Their luxurious ragdoll coat is one of their finest and most sought after features. The differences are subtle. Many ragdolls are seal pointed with a creamy body and light brown colorpoints.
Blue blue is a medium to light gray. Ragdolls are born white unless they are minks and ragdoll patterns and colors come in slowly. While it is a kitten it will go from full white to white with some dark colored areas in the extremities. You can tell seal and blue anywhere from a few days to a week but you cannot determine chocolate and lilac for 3 4 weeks.
Ragdoll kittens are born white acquiring their coloring and coat pattern as they age. The ragdoll cathas a soft semi long coat which does not require as regular a grooming as many other long haired breeds. The ragdoll has a bunny soft semi longhair coat which does not require extensive grooming.
